Senators DAVIS and LEATHERMAN propose the following amendment (DG SA EFA SUPP):
    Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 1, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, page 347, after line 15, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read::

/         1.___.     (SDE: EFA State Share) A school district that does not recognize a State share of the EFA financial requirement shall be supplemented with an amount equal to seventy percent of the school district with the least State financial requirement.                 /

    Renumber sections to conform.
    Amend sections, totals and title to conform.
