EXPLANATION: exempts SCNG CAP from mid-year budget reductions should they take place
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 11,
COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION, page 374, After line 34, by
adding an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:
/ (CHE: SCNG CAP Carry Forward) Funds appropriated for the
South Carolina National Guard College Assistance Program may be
carried forward from the prior fiscal year into the current
fiscal year and expended for the same purpose. If a mid-year
budget reduction is imposed by the General Assembly or the State
Budget and Control Board, the appropriations for the program are
exempt./
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend totals and titles to conform.
