Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 83, DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND WORKFORCE, page 462, after line 12, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:
/ 83._____ (DEW: Office Closings) The Department of Employment and Workforce is prohibited from closing any of its offices or implementing any restructuring plans affecting the delivery of services without approval from the General Assembly. The department is given the flexibility to transfer and expend funds among accounts authorized or appropriated in this act to provide in-person assistance with unemployment insurance benefits to those areas no longer providing such service pursuant to the February 2013 streamlining of the agency's services. /
