Amend the bill, as and if amended, after line 23, by inserting:
/ Section 44-38-650. (A) There is established in the Office of the State Treasurer, the South Carolina Brain Injury Fund, separate and distinct from the general fund, for the deposit of monies from private and public sources including, but not limited to, gifts, donations, and grants. All monies received pursuant to this section must be credited to the fund.
(B) The fund must be administered by the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs in consultation with the South Carolina Brain Injury Leadership Council.
(C) Monies remaining in the fund at the end of the fiscal year must remain in the fund be carried over to the following fiscal year. /
