Senator YOUNG proposed the following amendment (BH\940C011.BH.DG14):
    Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, Section 4-10-470, by adding an appropriately lettered subsection at the end to read:

/         ( )     Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, if the Education Capital Improvements Sales and Use Tax is imposed pursuant to subsection (B), then at least ten percent of the proceeds must be used to provide property tax relief by using the proceeds to offset the debt service millage levy on general obligation bonds pursuant to Section 4-10-445.         /
