Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 106, DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, page 516, after line 10, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:
/ 106.___. (DOR: Breach of Identifying Information) In the current fiscal year, and from appropriated funds, the Department of Revenue must notify each person whose personal identifying information was compromised in 2012. The notice must be in writing, must alert the taxpayer of the compromised personally identifying information, and provide information as to the manner in which the taxpayer may obtain free identity theft protection and identity theft resolution services. /
