EXPLANATION: A portion of the funds appropriated for Reading will be used for Project Read.
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 1A,
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION - EIA, page 393, after line 8, by adding
an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:
/(SDE-EIA: Project Read) Of the funds appropriated in
Section 1A. XII.A.3 for Reading $500,000 must be used for
teacher in-service training and professional development related
to Project Read. /
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend totals and titles to conform.
