Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part II, page [3579-13], immediately after line 20, by inserting an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:

/ SECTION      ___.      The State Fiscal Accountability Authority is directed to conduct an independent audit of the Department of Transportation which shall include, but not be limited to, the management structure of the department, the internal controls of the department, and the financial structure of the department. The State Fiscal Accountability Authority is authorized to contract with private or public entities in conducting such audit. The audit required by the provisions of this section must be completed and the audit must be provided to the General Assembly no later than July 1, 2016. /
