Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 84, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, page 507, after line 21, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:
/84.__(DOT: Secretary's Salary) If during this fiscal year, a new Secretary is employed by the department, a sufficient amount of funds shall be transferred from the Other Personal Services category to the appropriate account to increase the Secretary's annual salary to $250,000 and the amount of money transferred to fund the new Secretary's salary increase shall be prorated based on the date the new Secretary commences employment. /
