Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 84, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, page 507, after line 21, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:
84.__ (DOT: Contracts) In the current fiscal year, the Department of Transportation shall not use any funds appropriated or authorized in this act to award a contract to a firm that hires a former Department of Transportation engineer unless the engineer has not been employed by the department for one year. /
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend sections, totals and title to conform.
