/ SECTION ___. Article 1, Chapter 43, Title 11 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding
"Section 11-43-295. The Commission of the Department of Transportation may petition the bank to fund a project, and if the bank funds the project, then the match requirements of this chapter do not apply. In determining whether to fund the project, the bank must consider economic development benefits. For purposes of this section, 'project' includes multi-county projects and projects with eligible costs exceeding two hundred million dollars." /
