Amend the bill, as and if amended, page 2, by striking lines 10 through 16 and inserting:
/ (1) 'Dismemberment abortion' means, with the intention of causing the death of a living unborn child or after first killing a living unborn child, knowingly to dismember an unborn child and extract him one piece at a time from the uterus through use of clamps, grasping forceps, tongs, scissors, or similar instruments that, through the convergence of two rigid levers, slice, crush, or grasp a portion of the unborn child's body to cut or rip it off. /
