EXPLANATION: prohibit agencies and political subdivisions from adopting restrictions on tobacco products
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 109,
DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, page 457, after line 16, by adding an
appropriately numbered paragraph to read:
/ (DOR: Regulation of Tobacco
Products) No agency or other political subdivision of the state
including, but not limited to, municipalities, counties or any
agency thereof, may adopt any order, ordinance, rule or
regulation restricting the sale, age for purchase, distribution,
advertising, sampling, promotion, display, ingredients, flavors,
nicotine content, pricing or licensing of tobacco products,
alternative tobacco products, and vapor products. /
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend totals and titles to conform.
