EXPLANATION: Requires youths to be placed in group homes by their biological sex.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 38, DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, page 395, after line 11, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/ (DSS: Youth in Group Homes) In the current fiscal year, funds appropriated or authorized to the Department of Social Services for the purpose of group homes, shall be used to place children according to their biological sex. /

Amend totals and titles to conform.
