EXPLANATION: The State Election Commission may not use funds for the Electronic Registration Information Center.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 102, ELECTION COMMISSION, page 481, after line 34, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/(ELECT: ERIC Dues) The State Election Commission shall not use funds to participate in or pay dues to the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC)./

Amend totals and titles to conform.
