H 3427 General Bill, By J.W. Tucker, R.O. Kay, Townsend, Vaughn and S.S. Wofford
    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 14-1-215 so as to provide that a judge or justice retiring on or after July 1, 1989, from the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Circuit Court, or Family Court of this State may not be assigned to preside over any official proceeding in any court of this State; and to amend Section 9-8-120, relating to the authorization for justices or judges who are retired under the Judicial Retirement System to perform judicial duties in certain courts, so as to provide that this authorization is subject to the limitation contained in Section 14-1-215.
