A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 14-7-465 so as to provide that the governing body of any county may direct the Clerk of Court to serve a summons for jury duty by certified mail with return receipt requested and to provide that should the governing body not direct the Clerk of Court to summon jurors by mail, the sheriff shall continue to serve jurors as provided by law.
