    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Chapter 47 to Title 23 so as to establish a three digit public safety emergency phone number, 911, to authorize the governing authorities of the political subdivisions of the State to create 911 public safety communications centers for the purpose of establishing a local emergency telephone service, to permit funding for the centers, including provisions for levying a telephone service charge, and for related purposes.
