    A Bill to amend Section 23-1-60, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to appointment, compensation, removal, and terms of special deputies, constables, security guards, and detectives, so as to provide that a retired police officer or law enforcement officer in this State is exempt from this Section and upon application must be appointed a constable unless he was not in good standing upon retirement.
