    AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 38-41-35 SO AS TO REQUIRE AN EMPLOYER WHO PARTICIPATES IN A MULTIPLE EMPLOYER SELF-INSURED HEALTH PLAN TO EXECUTE HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENTS IN WHICH THE EMPLOYER AGREES TO PAY ALL UNPAID PORTIONS OF INSURED CLAIMS, TO REQUIRE THESE AGREEMENTS MUST BE MADE ON CERTAIN FORMS THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE SHALL PROVIDE, AND TO IMPOSE CERTAIN RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES ON THE EMPLOYER AND INSURER; AND TO AMEND SECTION 38-41-50, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO STOP-LOSS COVERAGE IN MULTIPLE EMPLOYER SELF-INSURED PLANS, SO AS TO REVISE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR DETERMINING POLICY COVERAGE LIMITS, AND TO REQUIRE A PARTICIPATING EMPLOYER'S FUND FOR AN EXCESS STOP-LOSS POLICY. - ratified title
