Summary: Farm equipment imported from country threatening spread of hoof and mouth disease prohibited; Agriculture, Animals
    A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON MAY NOT OWN, POSSESS, OR OPERATE USED FARM EQUIPMENT THAT WAS IMPORTED FROM A COUNTRY DETERMINED TO BE A THREAT FOR THE SPREAD OF HOOF AND MOUTH DISEASE, TO PROVIDE THAT THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE MUST SEIZE AND DISPOSE OF ANY EQUIPMENT THAT VIOLATES THE PROVISIONS OF THIS JOINT RESOLUTION, AND TO PROVIDE THAT ONCE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DETERMINES A COUNTRY IS CLEAR OF A THREAT OF THIS DISEASE, THEN THE STATE'S BAN ON THE OWNERSHIP, POSSESSION, OR USE OF EQUIPMENT IMPORTED FROM THAT COUNTRY IS RESCINDED.
