AN ACT TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PETIT JURORS THAT MAY BE DRAWN IN SUMTER COUNTY AND TO REPEAL ACT 465 OF 1976 RELATING THERETO.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Seventy-five petit jurors may be drawn

Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 14-7-230, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, or any other provision of law, the jury commissioners of Sumter County may draw seventy-five petit jurors.

Repeal

Section 2. Act 465 of 1976 is repealed.

Time effective

Section 3. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
