AN ACT CHANGING CERTAIN PRECINCTS AND CERTAIN POLLING PLACES IN ANDERSON COUNTY, TO INCLUDE MOVING POLLING PLACES IN THE DENVER AND EQUINOX PRECINCTS AND DELETING MOUNTAIN VIEW PRECINCT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Precinct lines are shown on maps

Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the precinct lines defining the precincts in Anderson County are as shown on maps filed with the clerk of court of the county and on file with the State Election Commission and the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control Board.

Polling precinct moved

Section 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in Anderson County the Denver polling precinct is moved from Shirley's Store to the Old Denver Bank.

Further

Section 3. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in Anderson County Mountain View voting precinct is deleted and henceforth the electors voting in such precinct shall vote in the Three and Twenty voting precinct at the Three and Twenty Fire Department.

Further

Section 4. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Equinox voting precinct shall be moved from Equinox Gym, which has been demolished, to the Equinox Store Building.

Implementation of act

Section 5. This act shall not be implemented until the provisions have been approved by the United States Department of Justice.

Time effective

Section 6. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
