AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 9-1-1535 SO AS TO REQUIRE CONSERVATION OFFICERS OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT SECTION OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA WILDLIFE AND MARINE RESOURCES DEPARTMENT TO RETIRE NO LATER THAN THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR IN WHICH THEY REACH THEIR SIXTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Retirement on conservation officers

Section 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 9-1-1535. Conservation officers of the Law Enforcement section of the South Carolina Wildlife and Marine Resources Department shall be retired no later than the end of the fiscal year in which they reach their sixty-fifth birthday."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
