AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-390, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN MCCORMICK COUNTY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE VOTING PLACE FOR SEVERAL PRECINCTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Voting precincts and voting places in McCormick County

SECTION 1. Section 7-7-390 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 239 of 1977, is amended to read:

"Section 7-7-390. In McCormick County there are voting precincts with voting places as follows: Mt. Carmel at Community Center; Clatworthy at Brock's Store; Young's at R.C. Young, Sr. Home; Willington at Community House; Bordeaux at Silver's Country Store; McCormick No. 2 at American Legion Hut; Talbert's Store at Wall's Club House; Bethany at Community House; McCormick No. 1 at Courthouse; Plum Branch at Lion's Hut; White Town at Jimmy Ferqueron Home; Rehobeth at Harold Winn Home; Parksville at Masonic Lodge; Modoc at Community Center; and Clarks Hill at House behind Phillips Store.

The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on maps filed with the clerk of court of the county and also on file with the State Election Commission as provided and maintained by the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control Board."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
