AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM A PORTION OF ROAD S-30-287 IN LAURENS COUNTY AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE PORTION SO CLOSED AND REMOVED SHALL REVERT TO FLOYD'S PROPERTIES, INC.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Road closed

SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation (department) shall close and remove from the State Highway System that portion of Road S-30-287 in Laurens County for which a right-of-way easement was executed and granted to the department (formerly South Carolina Highway Department) on May 28, 1958. The portion of Road S-30-287 to be closed and removed by the department, in accordance with the provisions of this act, is located just south of the intersection of Road S-30-287 and Road S-30-357 in Laurens County.

Ownership to revert

SECTION 2. After the portion of Road S-30-287 is closed and removed from the State Highway System pursuant to Section 1 of this act, it shall revert to Floyd's Properties, Inc., located at or in the vicinity of Cross Hill.

Time effective

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
