A JOINT RESOLUTION TO NAME THE NEW MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE OFFICE BUILDING OF THE HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN THE "WALLACE J. McKNIGHT BUILDING".

Whereas, Wallace J. McKnight of Andrews in Georgetown County has been a dedicated and effective member of the Highways and Public Transportation Commission representing the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit since 1987. Now, therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Building named

SECTION 1. The new motor vehicle license office building of the Highways and Public Transportation Department in the City of Georgetown is named the "Wallace J. McKnight Building". The department shall install appropriate markers with "Wallace J. McKnight Building" inscribed on them.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
