TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 48-33-75 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE COMMISSION OF FORESTRY TO MAINTAIN AT LEAST ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT FIRE TOWERS TO BE OPERATED IN STRATEGIC LOCATIONS DETERMINED BY THE COMMISSION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 48-33-75. The State Commission of Forestry shall maintain at least one hundred thirty-eight fire towers to be operated in strategic locations determined by the commission."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
