A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 2-1-60, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE SENATE INTO SENATORIAL ELECTION DISTRICTS EFFECTIVE WITH THE 1984 ELECTIONS, SO AS TO REAPPORTION THESE ELECTION DISTRICTS FROM WHICH MEMBERS OF THE SENATE ARE ELECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNITED STATES CENSUS OF 1990.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 2-1-60 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
