A BILL

TO CREATE THE COOPER RIVER SERVICE DISTRICT AND TO ABOLISH AND DEVOLVE ALL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NORTH CHARLESTON DISTRICT AND THE COOPER RIVER PARKS AND PLAYGROUND COMMISSION TO THE COOPER RIVER SERVICE DISTRICT AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE ALLOCATION OF ASSETS FORMERLY BELONGING TO THE NORTH CHARLESTON DISTRICT AND THE COOPER RIVER PARKS AND PLAYGROUND COMMISSION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. There is created the Cooper River Service District as follows:

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
