A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO ALLOW A GROUP REPRESENTING "SHHH" (SELF-HELP FOR HARD OF HEARING PEOPLE) THE PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AT A TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY THE SPEAKER ON THURSDAY, MAY 9, 1991, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECOGNIZING MAY AS "BETTER HEARING AND SPEECH MONTH" AND TO EXTEND THE APPRECIATION OF THE HOUSE TO THOSE GROUPS THAT ARE WORKING TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE HEARING IMPAIRED.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the group representing "SHHH" (Self-Help for Hard of Hearing People) is given the privilege of the floor of the House of Representatives at a time to be determined by the Speaker on Thursday, May 9, 1991, for the purpose of recognizing May as "Better Hearing and Speech Month" and to extend the appreciation of the House to those groups that are working to improve the lives of the hearing impaired.
