COMMENDING THE HONORABLE S.H. BELSER OF CLARENDON COUNTY, RESIDENT FAMILY COURT JUDGE OF THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT, FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE, AND EXTENDING HIM BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY RETIREMENT.
Whereas, the Honorable S.H. Belser of Manning, Clarendon County, has long served with distinction as resident Family Court Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit; and
Whereas, Judge Belser will retire on April 1, 1992, after more than fourteen years on the bench; and
Whereas, he served both as resident judge and chief judge of the Third Circuit; and
Whereas, he is widely respected for his knowledge, hard work, and dedication; and
Whereas, he has been an outstanding public servant who has earned the admiration and the gratitude of the people of South Carolina and is highly deserving of recognition and commendation. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends the Honorable S.H. Belser of Clarendon County, resident Family Court Judge of the Third Judicial Circuit, for his many years of dedicated service to the people of the State and extends him best wishes for a happy retirement.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Judge Belser and to his daughters, Assistant Solicitor Florence Belser and Attorney Harvin Belser.
