TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-5-925 SO AS TO REQUIRE ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS TO BE SET FOR A DELAYED GREEN SIGNAL OF AT LEAST TWO SECONDS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 7, Chapter 5, Title 56 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 56-5-925. All traffic control signals which exhibit alternate red and green signals must be set for a delayed green signal of at least two seconds."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 1992.
