A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE GRANITEVILLE COMPANY IN AIKEN COUNTY UPON OPERATING TWO YEARS WITHOUT A LOST TIME INJURY.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are very pleased to learn that the Graniteville Company has operated for two years without a lost time injury; and

Whereas, the associates of the Greige Mills and service areas have amassed over twenty-seven million work hours since their last lost time injury; and

Whereas, this achievement is truly remarkable and, according to Harold D. Kingsmore, President and Chief Operating Officer, "indicative of the dedicated people we have at Graniteville"; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly publicly recognize and commend the employees for their dedicated service not only to their company but to South Carolina. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate the Graniteville Company in Aiken County upon operating two years without a lost time injury.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Kingsmore.
