TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 43-33-80 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR HANDICAPPED PERSONS TO BE ADMITTED TO STATE-SUPPORTED MUSEUMS WITHOUT CHARGE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 43-33-80. A person who is handicapped as defined in Section 43-33-210 must be admitted to state-supported museums without charge. A person shall present a licensed physician's certificate that he is handicapped before admission without charge."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
