TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 8-13-611 SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS TO MAKE POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO ANOTHER CANDIDATE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 9, Chapter 13, Title 8 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 8-13-611. No candidate may use campaign funds contributed to his campaign funds to make a political contribution to another candidate."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
