TO COMMEND THE GIRL SCOUT COUNCILS OF SOUTH CAROLINA FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE IN THE GIRL SCOUT PAGE PROGRAM.
Whereas, Girl Scout week is March 10-16, 1991; and
Whereas, the seven Girl Scout Councils of South Carolina participated in the Girl Scout Page Program from March 12 through March 14; and
Whereas, thirteen Senior Girl Scouts from grades tenth through twelfth from across South Carolina offered their assistance by performing the duties of legislative pages including distributing daily bills and journals, taking messages for Senators, and doing errands for them; and
Whereas, Katina Lytle, Kari Freshley, Robin Butler, Tasha Belchar, Jennifer McCormack, Frances Keith, Nicole Plodince, Kimberly Goergen, Kimberly Shealy, Jessica Smith, Carrie Deason, Paula Fulmer, and Catherine Jones have demonstrated dedication in the performance of their duties and have enhanced state government through their participation. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate commend the Girl Scout Councils of South Carolina for their assistance and thank the individual Girl Scouts for their outstanding performance this past week.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to each Girl Scout.
