A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROPRIATE ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL TO RESTORE FUNDING TO THE RAPE CRISIS CENTERS AROUND THE STATE TO THE LEVEL PROVIDED IN THE GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT OF 1992.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the general fund of the State one hundred thousand, nine hundred seventy-eight dollars for the Department of Health and Environmental Control to be used to restore funding to the rape crisis centers around the State to the level provided in paragraph 39.13, Section 39, Part I, Act 501 of 1992 (General Appropriations for 1992-93).

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
