A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 32-1-5 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 32-1-10 DO NOT APPLY TO ANY COIN-OPERATED NONPAYOUT MACHINE WITH A FREE PLAY FEATURE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 32-1-5. The provisions of Section 32-1-10 do not apply to coin-operated nonpayout machines with a free play feature licensed pursuant to the provisions of Section 12-21-2720(A)(3)."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
