TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-720, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EMPLOYEES AND RETIREES OF CERTAIN ENTITIES ELIGIBLE FOR STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THE SOUTH CAROLINA PROTECTION AND ADVOCACY SYSTEM FOR THE HANDICAPPED, INC.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 1-11-720(A) of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 364 of 1992, is amended by adding an appropriately numbered item to read:
"( ) South Carolina Protection and Advocacy System for the Handicapped, Inc."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
