A HOUSE RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AT THE DEATH OF MR. ELBERT L. WHITWORTH OF ANDERSON COUNTY AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Mr. Elbert Louis Whitworth of Anderson died on Saturday, February 27, 1993, at the age of ninety-one; and

Whereas, he was born in Oconee County, the son of John David and Mary Myers Whitworth; and

Whereas, he was a retired textile employee and a member of Clearview Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon; and

Whereas, we want the members of his family and his many friends to know that they are in our thoughts and have our sincerest sympathy. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of Mr. Elbert L. Whitworth of Anderson County and extend sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Mr. Whitworth of 509 Eskew Circle, Anderson.
