AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-190, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN CLARENDON COUNTY, SO AS TO DELETE THE SPECIFIC LOCATIONS OF POLLING PLACES FOR CERTAIN PRECINCTS AND PROVIDE THAT POLLING PLACES MUST BE DETERMINED BY THE CLARENDON COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION WITH THE APPROVAL OF A MAJORITY OF THE CLARENDON COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Polling places
SECTION 1. The second paragraph of Section 7-7-190 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 419 of 1992, is further amended to read:
"The polling places for the above precincts must be determined by the Clarendon County Election Commission with the approval of a majority of the Clarendon County Legislative Delegation."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
