A HOUSE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE BLUE HOSE MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM ON AN OUTSTANDING 1992-93 SEASON, THE BEST IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

Whereas, the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's basketball team set a school record for most victories in a season with a 27-5 record in 1992-93; and

Whereas, the Blue Hose won the regular season championship in the South Atlantic Conference and earned the school's highest national ranking, finishing the season ranked seventh in the nation among NAIA schools; and

Whereas, in addition, in its final season as an NAIA school, Presbyterian College earned its first invitation to the storied NAIA Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri; and

Whereas, the members of this record-setting Presbyterian College team and Head Coach Gregg Niebert and his fine staff are highly deserving of recognition for their accomplishments. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulates the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's basketball team on an outstanding 1992-93 season, the best in the State of South Carolina.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Presbyterian College men's basketball team and coaching staff, in care of Head Coach Gregg Niebert, at Clinton.
