TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-13-225 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE WILDLIFE AND MARINE RESOURCES DEPARTMENT TO SET CREEL AND SIZE LIMITS FOR BLACK BASS AND CRAPPIE ON LAKE GREENWOOD AND PROVIDE FOR PENALTIES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amend by adding:
"Section 50-13-225. Notwithstanding the restrictions in this title, the department has the discretionary authority to set creel and size limits for black bass and crappie on Lake Greenwood. A person who violates this section, upon conviction, must be punished as provided in Section 50-13-285."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
