CONGRATULATING THE SOUTH CAROLINA FARM BUREAU FEDERATION ON ITS FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY, AND COMMENDING THIS OUTSTANDING ORGANIZATION ON A HALF CENTURY OF SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP TO SOUTH CAROLINA AGRICULTURE.
Whereas, the year 1994 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation; and
Whereas, this outstanding organization has, since 1944, provided first-rate service and leadership to South Carolina agriculture; and
Whereas, it is the great people of the Farm Bureau Federation -- dedicated, tireless, caring people -- who have made the federation such a superb organization for five decades and who have provided the impetus for the continuing development and success of agriculture in the Palmetto State. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation on its fiftieth anniversary and commends this outstanding organization on a half century of service and leadership to South Carolina agriculture.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation.
