A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE GREELEYVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY UPON RECEIVING A 1994 BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL AWARD FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Whereas, the members of the House were extremely pleased to learn that the Greeleyville Elementary School in Williamsburg County has received a 1994 Blue Ribbon School Award from the United States Department of Education; and

Whereas, this award signifies and is indicative of many outstanding educational accomplishments by this fine school and places it among the elite elementary schools in South Carolina; and

Whereas, only ten other schools received this prestigious award for 1994, and it without question brings deserved credit not only on the principal, teachers, other staff, and students of Greeleyville Elementary School but upon Williamsburg County as well; and

Whereas, the members of the House, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate the Greeleyville Elementary School upon the receipt of this truly deserving award. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives hereby congratulate the Greeleyville Elementary School in Williamsburg County upon receiving a 1994 Blue Ribbon School Award from the United States Department of Education.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ralph Fennell, Jr., Principal of Greeleyville Elementary School.
