TO CONGRATULATE THE T. L. HANNA YELLOW JACKETS ON WINNING THE SOUTH CAROLINA CLASS AAA HIGH SCHOOL STATE GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina General Assembly were delighted to learn that the T. L. Hanna High School golf team won its second straight Class AAA State Golf Championship on Saturday, May 21, 1994, at Greenville County Club's Riverside Course; and
Whereas, the T. L. Hanna Yellow Jackets posted an overall 611 for the tournament, 17 shots better than the runnerup; and
Whereas, team members Eric Williamson, Chase Stone, Carter Warren, Ricky Mollohan, and Cliff Hicks played exceptionally well and shot consistent pars; and
Whereas, it is appropriate that the team and its excellent Coach Ed Brown be recognized on their outstanding achievement; and
Whereas, the entire student body of T. L. Hanna High School is proud of it's team's accomplishment. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and congratulate the T. L. Hanna High School Golf Team winning its second straight Class AAA State Golf Championship.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the golf team and Coach Ed Brown of T. L. Hanna High School.
