The House assembled at 10:00 A.M.

Deliberations were opened with prayer by the Chaplain of the House of Representatives, the Rev. Dr. Alton C. Clark as follows:

Our Father God, we thank You for these moments of prayer when we bow in praise and thanksgiving and to receive strength for our daily duties. We thank You for Your watchful care throughout our past and for opportunities open to us with the coming of each new day. May the thoughts of our minds, the words of our mouths and the things done be altogether acceptable to You as we seek to bring peace, freedom and goodwill in every heart.

"Give us a conscience bold and good;

Give us a purpose true,

That it might be our highest joy

Our Father's work to do."

Look, Lord, with favor upon this our humble prayer. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

At 10:05 A.M. the House in accordance with S. 803 (Sine Die Adjournment Resolution) adjourned to meet at 10:00 A.M. tomorrow.
