A BILL

TO AMEND ACT 268 OF 1989, RELATING TO THE TAX MILLAGE AUTHORIZED TO BE LEVIED FOR THE OPERATIONS OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF AIKEN COUNTY, SO AS TO INCREASE THE MILLAGE AUTHORIZED TO BE LEVIED FROM EIGHTY-FOUR MILLS TO EIGHTY-SIX AND THREE-TENTHS MILLS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 268 of 1989 is amended to read:

"Section 1. For the year 1989 1996 and thereafter, a tax millage of eighty-four eighty-six and three-tenths mills is authorized to be levied for the operations of the school district of Aiken County."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
