TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 39-41-295 SO AS TO REQUIRE A SERVICE STATION OR CONVENIENCE STORE SELLING GASOLINE AND FOOD OR BEVERAGES TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC RESTROOM.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 39-41-295. A service station or convenience store that sells gasoline and food or beverages shall provide a restroom for use by the public."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect three months after approval by the Governor.
